1967 Rolls Royce Phantom V PV23 James Young Limousine
With the launch of the Phantom V, Rolls-Royce offered its clients a long wheelbase vehicle of the highest class, reserved not only for dignitaries, royalty and heads of state, but also for those successful in business and finance who were looking for an exceptional car providing convenience, incredible comfort and plenty of room. Although the first orders were placed by the royal court and dignitaries, the bulk of inquiries originated in industry or from private individuals.
This magnificent Limousine was ordered and delivered to Willam B. MacDonald of Miami Beach, Fl, a wealthy philanthropist who had once owned the Florida Marlins. The car was then briefly owned for two years by H. Fisher of Miami, until purchased by Red Skelton, who started in Vaudeville at age 15 and debuted on Broadway before becoming a house hold name on the Red Skelton Television Show. Delivered with white wall Dunlop tires and P100 Headlamps which add to the beauty of the car. The P100 headlamp option on this James Young body limo is the ONLY ONE in existence! This one of kind Rolls Royce is one of 14 James Young Phantom V’s produced in 1966 making it an extremely rare find. Amazing addition to anyone’s collection.
