With the launch of the Phantom V, Rolls-Royce offered its clients a long wheelbase vehicle of the highest class, reserved not only for dignitaries, royalty and heads of state, but also for those successful in business and finance who were looking for an exceptional car providing convenience, incredible comfort and plenty of room. Although the first orders were placed by the royal court and dignitaries, the bulk of inquiries originated in industry or from private individuals.
This Roll Royce PV55 James Young Coupe is one of two ever built. These two coupes are undoubtedly the largest saloon coups ever built by any coachbuilder. The two tone paint is absolutely stunning. A true blue chip investment grade Rolls Royce that would be an excellent addition to anyones portfolio. A gone through complete restoration was performed in 1999. Meticulously cared for with very limited use. Originally delivered to Carlton W. Smith of Dayton, OH.
